Yes I used DSS. To set that up: 1. after you have prepared light frames, choose "register checked pictures" 2. set a low star detection threshold so that the comet is also counted as a star (if not, your mouse pointer will not auto snap to it in step 5) 3. register the photos, but do not stack them ...

by the way it may not be very dangerous to handle liquid nitrogen due to Leidenfrost Effect (don't be stupid anyway)
