Registax6的處理真神奇,原本幾乎最好的一幀只不過是這個樣子.

近來較少人分享行星照片. 貼張細細粒木星,算是為QHY5L-IIC開光.

好久沒用DSS了,現在功能可能更多. 我之前的意思只是簡單地把天底的偏紅(通常是紅色和綠色通道較多)調暗,使它回復灰黑.

充分說明不改機,沒有高檔天文器材,都能拍到漂亮的星空(包括紅色的星雲).

Suggest scale photo to 800-1600 pixels horizontal for easier reading in forum posts. It would be much more tolerant to imperfection in focusing and tracking too.

Why an equatorial mount is more convenient for planetary shooting? I guess field rotation is not a concern for such short exposure, and tracking is also not a concern with CPC? Is vibration in DEC motion still a significant problem at high power?

看星跡長度,應該只幾分鐘曝光罷?

如果疊相是直接加而不是取平均,就有可能超過16bit. 不過只要適量地在DSS中減掉天底和調亮度,然後才save到16bit或8bit做最後處理,也是相當足夠.

他的器材恐怕比攝星儀貴得多

How come there is almost no dark noise in 4min exposure? Is 100D so low noise by itself, or deep cooled, or noise reduction techniques applied?
