Re-desinged and made a platform for installing telescope onto the DEC axis.

Thanks for your sharing Mr. Kwan. DIY is fun no matter what age you are, and just do it if you want to start it again.

That's right. Hobbies is a lifetime commitment, they wouldn't disappear from your mind when you getting old. However, I have yielded to the fact, handling heavy gears or making of them are already beyond my physical strenght these few years.
But no worry for myself, I would focus my DIY hobby on making some small gears or parts more practical.

Go back to HK foundries, although I know most (maybe all ?) of them had moved to mainland. Is there really none at all in our city? About five or six years ago, I did explore on google map and found a foundry named 振業鑄造廠 in 屏山 Yeun long, but finally I haven't tried to locate their site to prove it exist or not. (seemed located in a village from the map) As I know you live in Yeun Long and if you feel interest in using casting service or just for curiosity. I suggest you try find them out when you are free.

It maybe very close to your house I guess.

Sorry, I don't have any detailed drafts on paper, just in my brain. Will post the pic of the mount here once i finish the whole project.

You actually did visit this factory!!
It is understandable, they wouldn't accept small order, particularly those small parts. Foundry is in fact a tough business, super hot environment and lots of labours, that was one of the main reasons they needed to move to mainland.

I remember, in 90s, I joined the Telescope making class (HK space museum) as a tutor for many years. I needed to prepare a kit-set for every student, kit-set included a mirror cell, which is ideally to be made by sand-casting. So, I could easily place an order of certain quantity.

Re-design the worm housing for RA axis and seems all measurements are within tolerance. Just wait for installation on motor onto it.
