First operational test of my DIY mount is not done yet as this 3.6v Lithium battery needs to be replaced, and I am waiting for its arrival now.

Why are you waiting this battery from oversea ?
3.6v Lithium-battery is common in some electrical stores, you can get it easily from Apliu Street.

Last night connected the Skysensor 2000PC controller to that mount. The mount can slew at high speed. But star could not be tracked well due to no polar alignment done with the mount. Moreover, the gear ratio parameters might not be set well. With motor tracking, star images could stay in the eyepiece's field longer for more comfortable eyeballing than without any motor tracking. Though Jupiter was just above 25 degrees above horizon, the image still looked good at about 300x. Below is the first light of Jupiter taken with the 13.1" Newtonian @native focal ratio F4.5.
