命運難逃 --- Rosette in BW
Re: 命運難逃 --- M42
Took this great nebula while waiting for the comet A1 to rise. However, it was too windy. Moreover, the focus was getting out more and more as the scope cooled down to ambient temperature.
Taken with Vixen SD115S + HD reducer kit + LPS + 1600MM in Sai Kung at midnight of Dec 2nd @700mm F6.1
R:G:B = 4x300s : 4x300s : 5x300s, autoguided with Vixen SXD2
Stacked and processed in PI with dark calibration only
Final touch in PS
Hope I can take the L channel later so as to get a much finer color image.

Re: 命運難逃 --- M3 cropped
I was so surprised there is a tiny NGC close to M3 can be captured with a modified DSLR with just merely 60s exposure after stacking the frames and so would like to crop them out for further processing with much attention on not getting the core burnt. Also, attach one more a highly cropped M3 alone. If more frames and longer exposure taken, the result would be much stunning I am quite sure.

Re: 命運難逃 --- Rosette in BW
After shooting M42 on Dec 3rd, changed to shoot Rosette in Ha channel. Originally wanted to take at least 5 subs. But outcome just 1 frame was taken due to a human mistake of that I forgot to change the filter setting in SGPro from G to Ha in the event. Moreover, too windy at that night and so each star had their "companies".
