Dear Sky Lovers,

The pictures are overwhelmingly beautiful. But I think that is not the lens who make the greatest contribution, but the place at which these pictures were shot.

Haven't you noticed ? Farm Hakos, Namibia. May be the world's best site for astronomy except Mauna Kea.

Hi,

Do you notice that the Milky Way picture steps down to F5.6? I think this says something about the lens. Unless you really want to use M42 lenses, perhaps a Sigma fisheye is better. It is not very expansive.
