May I have a Question?

I am a new comer in this forum, I have bought a 6-inches telescope recently, when I take a look at MARS last night, I can't see a round sharp ball that such I can see as Saturn. Can anyone tell me that is true or not? I am very sorry that I don't know how to type chinese...... Thanks a lot...

This is normal because Mars is less than 8", and Saturn ring is about 40" now

Thanks for fast response, by the way, I have another questions.
1. How about 天狼星, is it as MARS, I only can see it as 一舊光 last night, also not in a round shape ball?
2. Is it this only happen on MARS, how about others planets?

We can only see stars as bright dots with a telescope. (Except Hubble/very large scope)
You may check the appearant angle of the object with softwares.
