We don't always have fine weather and a comet.

So work hard at day and play harder at night.

I ate fat cow at PTC last night.

Very clear sky but only before 9:30 p.m. after which cloudy night persisted.

What a pity....... I only caught 15 minutes of clear sky before the clouds came from South East early at 9:00pm and persisted till nearly 10:45pm.

I used a 10x binocular to locate it (between Aldebaran and Pleiades) and point by dob towards it with the aid of a green laser.

You are right, the 12" dob managed to resolve the LoveJoy nucleus - among the smudge / fluffy patch surrounding the comet I saw a patch which was bright. I viewed it at 75x and 110x - the nucleus is clearly visible.

I caught a few glimpse between a few clear sky intervals and I also tested my imaging gear alongside.

不知為何, 昨晚我去了東莞企石拍, 水氣很重. 除了天頂, 周圍都不成.
這是東莞特別有???

昨晚多咗雲量形成，喺我屋企睇，嚟自東南方，應該係東南風將海洋水氣吹咗嚟，碰上内陸嘅冷空氣。

有一段時間我嗰邊成天都係雲，足足成個鐘頭睇唔到LoveJoy，影緊獵戶座星雲都要停。係後尾10:30pm 後個天慢慢開返，俾我睇到多一陣LoveJoy，然後狂影半小時。

Actually PTC enjoyed a very transparent sky ( rare in few years ) but the period is short. At around 9:30 p.m. clouds came and I started to pack the telescope and leave.

Total telescope time was about 2 hours. I arrived early so that I could eat up all telescope time but for those who arrived at around 9:00 p.m they ..................@#%& !!!

Most probably tonight is cloudless but the transparency drops drastically.
