2012 TSE: Corona Composite
Finally managed to accomplish the enduring work: it took me almost a week to do it.
We enjoyed the eclipse somewhere next to Mulligan Hwy, QLD.
Image combined by individual with exposure from 1/500-s to 4-s over a hundred images in total, ISO 100, thru a Canon 70-200 f/4 lens set to 200mm f/4.0 + 50D. Mounted by Astrotrac in solar motion rate. Processed in IRIS, Fitswork, PS CS3 Ext. Standard calibration performed (bias and dark subtracted, vignetting function applied)
Earthlit lunar silhouette vaguely discernible to naked eye visually, however, it eluded my photographs, with additional negative factor from a layer of high thin clouds.
I spent enough time enjoying visual admiration of the corona. It's beyond any of my description.

thx evrybody!
Boss Chin, I did see some reluctant hint of features but clouds were playing negatively. I tried to push hard, seeing nothing convincing. I think the focal length may be too short. In fact I haven't seen any clear earthlit disk captured thru 200mm. Perhaps scattering more serious in shorter focal length. Also is that I'd love to point out that I haven't yet stacked the images with reference to the lunar disk. Possibly this could help to yield features like the mariae better out.
