2020 June 29 Sun - prominences along the solar limb
There are prominences on the NE, SE, NW and SW solar limb.
Note that the prominences are much brighter in H-alpha then Ca-K, despite the much larger aperture (80 mm f/6.25 vs 35 mm f/11.5) used for H-alpha.
Sunspot count: group=0. sunspots=0, R=0
For H-alpha images:
Telescope: Lunt LS35T with B600 blocking filter
Camera : ASI174MM
exposure: 3.5 ms (prominence)
For Ca-K images:
Telescope: Sharpstar AL-80 II, 8 cm f/6.25 APO refractor
Camera : ASI174MM
focal length : 500 mm f/6.25
filter: Lunt Ca-K Module B1200
exposure: 5.5 ms
approximately south is up, east to the left
