2020 October 29 - Observing Aurorae Borealis at 11 km altitude, near the North Pole
Sometime around Moon set (after 22:00 UTC), the sky becomes much darker.
I see some faint clouds at a much higher altitude. Recalling the same flight on 2020 March 13 when I saw some aurorae (refer to viewtopic.php?f=28&t=36443 ) I realize that my luck come again.
This time the aurora is much more extensive, but the structure is more loose.
These images are capture around 22:40 UTC.
The foreground is the tip of the wing. I timed my exposures in between the regular red flashes.
Camera: Sony RX10iv.
ISO set at 10000.
exposure : 200 - 400 ms.
