2020 December 30 Sun - solar surface in white-light, with AR12794 and AR12795
Seeing is very bad as the cold air is mixing with the hot one from yesterday. Don't be surprised if you see some sawtooth in these images.
As AR12794 is moving towards the W limb, and is located at (S16W42) today. This group is still a lone Class-J sunspot. The umbra seems to be splitting.
AR12795 is west of the meridian today, located at (S17W13), is a Class-E bipolar group. Both the leading and following sunspots have divided umbra but the penumbrae seem to be dispersing. We can see at least 6 sunspots.
sunspot count: group=2, sunspot=7, R=27
Telescope: Celestron C5, 127mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain
Camera : ASI1600MM Pro, not cooled.
focal length : 1250 mm f/10
Filters: Baader Solar Film 5.0+ Baader Planetarium G-band continuum.
approximately north is up, east to the left
