2021 September 21 Sun - solar surface in H-alpha, with AR12871, AR12782, AR12873 and possible AR12874 and AR12785.

AR12871 is located at (S29E48). The large leading sunspot is visible. A flare is observed to come from the sunspot. Huge filaments are to the east.
The compact AR near the E limb, at (N17E40) is today designated AR12872. The large leading sunspot is visible. Bright plages are mostly to the east, where flares are observed. Filaments associated with the plages run mainly eastward.
The compact AR, located at (N27E04) is now AR12873. The chain of sunspots are also sources of flares. Arch filaments connecting magnetic centers are observed.
Meanwhile, 2 new active regions appear in the south:
The one located just west of the meridian, at (S25W02) come with plages and flares, as well as dark arch filaments. This may become AR12874.
Further to the west is another compact AR, located at (S26W27), that comes with plages and flares. This may become AR12875.
