2023 January 06 Sun - Solar surface in H-alpha, with possible AR1318a.

The new AR, possibly AR1318a, appears at (S29W70). A compact patch of very bright faculae is observed in white light, and flares are observed in both Ca-K and H-alpha.

Camera : ASI1600MM Pro, cooled to -10.0 C
Telescope: Sharpstar AL80 II refractor, ED Triplet
focal length : 500 mm f/6.25 with 2X barlow for close-up images
Filter: modified Etalon module from Lunt 50Th, and Lunt B1200 blocking filter.
