Bought this telescope from Wongsir early this year. Although there were a number of problems with this telescope (e.g. balance), the optics of the mirror is really good.
Using the laser collimator, the scope was finally correctly collimated last night. Under a starry night, the scope really exceeded my expectation. 16" is really impressive.
Thanks to Wongsir for introducing this great dobsonian.

I am so happy the performance of the Dob is up to standard.
Would you mind disclosing the method you used in balancing the big Dosonian with the "spring"?
As I talked with the Hubble Optics boss, Mr Liu a few days ago, he is very interested in the "spring" set up.
What is the length and diameter of the spring, and the way that it is fixed to the Dobs?
With all this information, he could improve his Dobs mechanical parts design in the future.
He told me that the mirror is even better now, as the quality control, smoothness and finishing is improving recently.
Hubble Optics is a new US company. Last year they are making a number of new products
besides large Dobs---from 14" to 24". A famous Japanese shop is selling their large Dobs.

Also, lightweight sandwich cassegrain mirror CDK is one of their best selling product, coming will be a 10" OTA and
then the larger size OTA 17", 20" and 24".
And the computer control system for the Dobs is released this year, they are:
1)"Push to " syetem and
2)"Goto" system
The systems are cheap and easy to operate, a real competitor to Obsession dobs.

Hoping that you have a better understanding of the company from this post. As I am so proud that the company is run by a Chinese.
And he is very aggressive. They are progressing well, may be one day their product is better that RCOS / Alluna Optics.

Wongsir,
I have installed 4 coil springs (2 on each side) to balance the telescope. I don't know the stiffness of the spring, but measured the dimension for your reference. The dimension is roughly dia. 10mm x length 80mm.
I found that there are a number of holes on the rocker and the mirror box. These holes are tapped with M6 thread. Therefore, these holes are perfect to be the anchor points for the springs.
