I re-checked my previous post on 20D in 2004. The temperature at that time was about 30C and the hotpixels were amazingly serious. Not better than my then 10D much.
The room temperature will have a significant effect on hotpixel and background noise. Even for the same model at the same temperature and same ISO, the hot pixel/noise level is also different for each camera.
Try to select one among several cameras.
