My first timelapse video - in Nepal
My first timelapse video - in Nepal
Here is my first timelapse voideo in Nepal. All captured during my stay in Lobuche (4910m). Unfortunately I was too tired and only woke up at 3am. By the time I set up my equipment, it was already 3:30am. Sky began to brighten by 4am. So I only have around 30mins window for dark sky. Sunset and sunrise window were not spectacular. So it was not a successful attempt. Anyway, it shows you what it is like during an ordinary night in high altitude...

Glad you like it. But frankly I consider this as a failure attempt for a number of reasons:MANDII 寫:哇!!! 真系好店 !!!
你又话影得5好,甘好都话5好。
好似就系现场甘呀!仲见到流星,好自然,不造作的感觉。
而且摆上网,有个鬼佬都话好
1) the sunrise and sunset scene were not spectacular, at least not what I wished for; my ideal picture was to record some spectacular sunrise and sunset moments
2) my wish was to record a timelapse video for milkway with snowcap mountain ranges as the foreground; unfortunately the location did not offer such possibilty
3) I only had ~30min of dark sky for the mikyway shots, far too few to offer any impact; I think at least 2-3 hours or more should be the minimum; one shot for a horizon to horizon milkyway, another shot for moving stars surrounding the pole, ideally with snow-capped mountain ranges as the foreground...
