兩天被到注冊千幾a/c

forum好像load得有點慢
看看竟然有今日已有過千a/c注冊。
還是每天都是這樣？
辛苦了admin+forum的server其實很強吧

分分钟连一D国家级既领导人物都系到，都难讲，我指外国或国内既，中港台三地。另外，留意到近几个月在线人数明显比以往
高出近一倍，以前都系40几倒，衣家经常性地过70人，好奇怪。出声既亦多左好多新面孔发言。

I have to delete manually about 2000 automatic program registered accounts everyday.

Thanks for your careful observation.
From the admin system, I found out that there are so many ROBOT searching/screening our posts on all sessions, Yahoo, Bing, Google, China( 2~3 network co.)....
Each search engine company do have two to three robots at any time! So, there may be up to 10 or more robots per second.
I think this is a strong proof on how HOT is HKastroforum. Because they have to update their database EVERY second.

if you think traffic from search engine is too heavy, you may consider adding robots.txt
details http://www.robotstxt.org/robotstxt.html

And for Google, you can set the rate of their crawler robots at http://www.google.com/webmasters/

I run a few web sites too and found sometimes robots is a big consumer of resources.

To prevent auto sign ups... do you think this will work?

Yes , I do believe there is robots in the internet , but for All the forunms .
At same time , there is men in the internet , for all forunms .
The hotness of a forunm , come from men and robots , both are reason .
