2020 July 14 - Observation of Asteroid (532) Herculina occultation of TYC 6279-01243-1 at Hokoon
I arrived at Hokoon at about 11:10 UTC, and equipment was ready by 11:25 UTC. However, no star was visible on the screen due to clouds and low altitude of target.
When the first star came to view, it was already 11:44:50 UTC, nearly 2 minute after the recommended bracket time by IOTA.
The image went on and off for prolong times. We did captured the merged images, and then by 11:57:46 UTC, the asteroid and star was seen to have separated.
Thus, the data is of no use as far as timing is concerned.
Observers: Taksun Poon, Kenneith Hui, Bartholomew Tsang and a student.
Telescope: 50-cm RC reflector, f/8
Camera: ASI1600MM Pro. cooled to -12C.
