The raw is FITS which is yet to debayer. Resizing Bayer matrix FITS will loss the colour information.

Can it be Nebulosity (FITS input) ==> Nebulosity (TIFF output) ==> PS (resized and Jpeg output).

It doesn't matter to have some colour lost. I just want to see what the noise level is and the Red casting in a 10 min or 5 min RAW.

Another question, any filter (LPS, CLS, V4 or IR) used with your QHY8?

初次用新setup, 還有很多地方要測試及改善.

What's your comment on your new CCD?

This is the first light of my attempt under the sky, and it is too early to give detail comment.

I believe the bigger pixel ICX285 gives less noise. The 4.54μm pixel size put certain demand on the optics and tuning. I guess it is in similar class with KAF8300.
