Mount : Modified Zhitong EQ4
Guiding : C5 guidescope + DIY Autoguider with software Startrack
Camera / Film : Nikon FM2 / Fuji Press 800
Exposure : ~ 20 mins
Today obtained from film development lab., I found that again, they do some tricks to the photos. They made all the background black!!! I have different exposures on M45, M42, and one Horsehead, but turns out that the background all black!!! But in the negative films, they are totally different! I have found the 40 mins Horsehead film was very bright, but in the photo, the blackground is black and I could barely seen the 'flame nebula', but no Horsehead.
Then I immediately ran home to use my Epson Flatbed 1650 scanner to try to scan the film, but found that the light box was broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It only got ~ 50% of the brightness in the lightbox, all the film are noisy!!! Anyone is so kind could help to scan the film for me??? I want to bring out the Horsehead and also the nebulous structure of M45, they must be there for sure!!!!!!
Even though not very happy as I couldn't get the nebulous thing out yet, I am very happy that my cheap equipment works.

I never take a DSO photo, so I'm interesting to know the DSO scanning capability of my film scanner. I can help you scan the film. Please PM to me.
