M7, M8 & M20 at Shui Hau on 29-08

Dear friends,

The deep sky at Shui Hau was wonderful on Friday 29-08-2003.

Here is M7 image taken by Canon 10D, Canon 135mmL F2 lens at F4 mounted on tracking mount shared with Kingarthur. Manual focus adjusted in 10DRemote. ISO 400. 55 sec. Single image unstacked but image cropped and processed in Photo Elements.

I note that geocities do not lock the image link when the link is put in yahoo discussion groups, but image link is frequently locked in astroforum or in astrofarm.

I have I have now processed another image of M8 & M20 taken also on 29-08-2003 at 13.52 UT by Canon EOS 10D & EF 135mmL F2 at F2.8. ISO 400 for 250 sec. Single image unstacked but image croppd and processed in Photos Elements.

With more exposure at 250 sec, more blue green color can be seen in Trifid M20 and more details can be seen in M8 as well.
