Before the trip to Taiwan, a quick test on newly purchased ZWO LRGB filters at my YL home. But very low transparency and heavy light pollution at that night, Polaris was not visible with naked eyes. So as to see if the "loop" around the core of M42 could be captured under such a terrible sky, the image was processed very heavily. Though not so obvious, it is there.
Taken with Vixen Baby-VSD + HD flattener + 1600MM + ZWO LRGB filters @315mm F5.7
R=G=B=6x90s, autoguided with Vixen AP mount
Only bias calibrated in PS
A surprise or not
