101. M42 again

Taken with DIY 6" F4 Newtonian + Vixen corrector PH + LPS + 100Da @YL at 20210203 @570mm F3.8
27x120s @iso400, autoguided with Vixen AXJ mount
Stacked in DSS with darks and a bad flat calibrated
Processed in PI and PS

Also attach one light frame for your reference. Just a test to see the star quality corrected by Vixen corrector PH and for back focus adjustment with 1600MM imaging gears.

103. Monkey nebula in Ha channel of 7nm vs 35nm

Once took this object with Vixen R200SS in Ha channel @7nm some years ago in YL. Last night, imaged it again with a DIY 6" F4 Newtonian in Ha channel but @35nm bandwidth. Unfair to compare them, but maybe there is still something worthy for taking a look.

104. M42 in Ha channel

Taken with DIY 6" F4 Newtonian + Vixen corrector PH + 1600MM @YL at 20210215 @570mm F3.8
Total integration time = 3x600s, 5x120s and 5x60s in Ha @7nm
Stacked in DSS with darks calibrated only
Pre-processed in PI and combined in PS using layers for HDR effect

A test to see if my DIY adapter for coupling 1600MM onto Vixen corrector PH works flawlessly. Luckily I made it this time.

That is a crop from a FF image taken with 5Da, and aybe one of the deepest image of M42 taken by me ever in Hong Kong with DSLRs.

Taken with Vixen VSD100F3.8 astrograph + reducer + LPS + 5Da in Lantau Island in 2015 @300mm F3
23x180s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen GP2 photoguider in RA direction only

By the end of this year, I will re-visit M42 with my DIY 6" F4 Newtonian in Hong Kong and have confidence that I can have better result than this one with cooled CMOS camera.
