DSO 遺照集 -- NGC7000
Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M42 with another L combined
125. M42 with another L combined
Though it was clear, the night sky conditions were very bad at my YL site last night. Because of the so low transparency and very heavy light pollution, exposure could only be limited to 45s for the L channel. Otherwise the histogram would move to the right passing the middle location.
L channel: 60x45s, stacked in DSS with dark and flat calibrated
Color image: RGB channels combined in PI, taken in Sai Kung on December 3rd last year
Both taken with Vixen SD115S + HD reducer kit + LPS + 1600MM @700mm F6.1
LRGB combined in PI
L vs RGB

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M46
126. M46
Taken in Yuen Long last night with Vixen SD115S = HD reducer kit + LPS + 1600MM @700mm F6.1
R:G:B=10x150s : 8x120s : 8x120s, autoguided with SXD2 mount
Stacked in DSS with darks calibrated only
Processed in PI
Final touch in PS

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- comparison of M66
To shoot galaxies, aperture is always the king, especially when the seeing condition is good.

127. Blue Horse Head nebula
EF200mm F2.8L lens vs Vixen VSD.
Upper:
Taken with EF200mm F2.8L lens + 40Da in Australia @F3.5, 10x360s @iso800

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- HK vs Australia
128. Hong Kong vs Australia
Both images were taken with Vixen VSD100F3.8 astrograph + reducer + 5Da @300mm F3
Upper:
Taken in Lantau Island in Hong Kong in 2015, 23x180s @iso800
Lower:
Taken in Melrose in Australia in 2015, 17x75s @iso1000
For the lower image, when it was taken, the Orion was going down to the west horizon and just about 10 degrees above horizon, though the light pollution in the that direction was little. I think the result would be much better if it was high in the night sky and the lights were calibrated with a set of good "flats".

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- Trifid reprocessed
Trifid nebula, reprocessed in PI with Cosmetic correction
Taken with Vixen VC200L + reducer + 5Da @PTC in 2015 @1280mm F6.4
14x240s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen SX2 mount
Hope it will be revisited this summer with my DIY 30cm F4 Newtonian.

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- 75s vs 30s
129. 75s vs 30s
Again, both were taken with Vixen VSD100F3.8 astrograph + reducer + 5Da @300mm F3
Upper
17x75s @iso1000, unguided with Vixen SX2 mount
Taken in Melrose in Australia in 2015
At the time of being taken, Orion was about 10 degrees above west horizon and very soon went behind a house after 25 minutes.
Lower
8x30s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen AP photoguider in RA direction only
Taken in Taiwan in 2015 at Tak Tak Ka about 2600mm above see level
Processed in PI and PS
