Went out to Sai Kung for imaging M33 last night but the weather didn't cooperate with. This image is a combination of L channel taken last night and color data taken with "Vixen VSD100F3.8 astrograph + 40Da" in China in 2014.

L Channel
Vixen SD115S + HD reducer kit + 1600MM @700mm F6.1
31x120s, autoguided with SXD2 mount
Stacked in DSS, no dark, no flat

Re-stacked in DSS with dark, bias and flat calibrated and then processed in PI and PS. Seemed the improvement just very little.

SD115S vs SD103S

Image labelled with SD115S is a result of combining the L channel (taken with SD115S apo + 1600MM) and the RGB images (labelled with SD103S, taken with SD103S apo + 1600MM).

Seemed not much gain in resolution as the objective of SD115S apo just has an aperture 15mm larger than that of SD103S. If it is not mentioned, maybe you cannot distinguish between them.
