DSO 遺照集 -- NGC7000
Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M51 from TMS with ED80Sf
62. M51 from TMS with ED80Sf
Taken with Vixen ED80Sf + reducer + LPS + 100Da @TMS in 2014 @510mm F6.4
7x360s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen photoguider in RA direction only
Cropped image

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- Core of M31
63. Core of M31
Taken with DIY 30cm F4 Newtonian + paracorr + LPS + 100Da in PTC in 2015 @1380mm F4.6
21x240s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen AXD mount
Stacked in DSS and processed in PI and PS with HDR applied
That film product of TV paracorr (coma corrector) doesn't work well on correcting the coma even on an APS-C sized sensor. It will be replaced by a Vixen corrector PH soon this year.

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- Eskimo
64. Eskimo
Taken with Vixen VC200L + reducer + LPS + 100Da in PTC in Hong Kong in 2013 @1280mm F6.4
6x240s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen SX2 mount
Stacked in DSS and processed in PI and PS with HDR applied
Without doing any HDR, the object will look over. So, if re-visiting it this winter, the exposure needs to be shorter. Moreover, longer photographic focal length seems necessary too.

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- Core part of milky way
Core part of milky way
Taken with EF35mm F2 lens + 100Da in Lantau Island in 2016 @F4
5x240s @iso800, unguided with Vixen Polarie star tracker
Stacked in DSS and processed in PI and PS
That is a reprocessed version. Remember at that night the sky conditions were not so good as there was mist occassionally. When it went, the transparency was good. Hope I can go to this spot again this year for astronomy.

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M27 with 5Da
Forgot this is a gallery of DSO, and so cancel the image no. of my milky way image.
Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M27 with 5Da
65. M27 with VC200L + 5Da
Taken with Vixen VC200L + reducer + LPS + 5Da @PTC in 2015 @1280mm F6.4
15x240s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen SX2 mount
Stacked in DSS with darks calibrated and processed in PI. Final touch in PS
Seeing was quite good at that night. Also, transparency was quite high too. That resulted in blue signal stronger than usual.
Look forward to redoing it with my 30cm DIY newtonian soon this summer.

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M27__ comparison
Should have no difficulty to distinguish which one was taken with VC200L and another with ED115 apo (115mm F7.7). Could you guess out which one was taken at the night of higher transparency?
Both were taken with 5Da, but at different nights in June in 2015 in Hong Kong
15x240s @iso800 vs 41x90s @iso400
Stacked in DSS and processed in PI

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M51 with unmodified 100D
66. M51 with unmodified 100D
Taken with Vixen VC200L + reducer + unmodified 100D @PTC in 2015 @1280mm F6.4
12x240s @iso800, autoguided with Vixen SX2 mount
SN ratio is quite low due to light pollution. My best effort on processing it just with stretching in Level, Curve and some layer masks.
