DSO 遺照集 -- NGC7000
Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M27 in Ha
135. M27 in Ha
Cropped
Taken with Vixen SD115S + HD reducer kit + 1600MM in YL on July 27 @700mm F6.1
Ha = 5x360s @-5C
Autoguided with SXD2 mount
Seems it is too slow to capture the Ha signal at F6.1

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- M4
136. New life to M4
Top image is a result of combining the color data taken with 6Da onto the L channel taken with 1600MM.
L channel: 30x60s, taken with SD115S + HD flattener + 1600MM in YL on July 21 this year @908mm F7.9, autoguided with SXD2 mount
Color data: 6x240s @iso1600, taken with VC200L + reducer + LPS + unmodified 6D @PTC in 2015 @1280mm F6.4, autoguided with SX2 mount
(Sorry for wrong labelling in the lower right image)
Anything improved by doing so?

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- OSC vs DSLR
137. OSC vs DSLR
Only Histogram and Curve stretching in PI after DBE and PCC applied. Then final touch on adjusting the color of sky background, brightness and contrast a little bit in PS. No saturation stretching throughout the processing in PI or PS.
I think you should have no difficulty to distinguish between which was taken with a modified DSLR. Personally I like the color captured with modified DSLRs on nebulae a little bit.
OSC image: 12x300s, taken with DIY 6" F4 Newtonian + 1.4x extender PH + LPS + 071C in Yuen Long last month @840mm F5.6
DSLR image: 15x240s @iso800, taken with VC200L + reducer + 5Da @PTC in 2015 @1280mm F6.4

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- Mono vs OSC
138. Mono vs OSC
I was assumed that they should appear in very similar color after PCC in PI if it was taken with a mono camera in RGB channels and OSC separately, but it is seemed to be not by looking at this comparison. Maybe it is the problem of me not using the PCC tool correctly in PI.
Mono: R=G=B=8x180s, taken with SD115S + HD flattener + 1600MM in YL last month @908mm F7.9
OSC: 12x300s, taken with DIY 6" F4 Newtonian + 1.4x extender PH + LPS + 071C in YL last month @840mm F5.6

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- L + OSC
139. L + OSC
That image is a combination of the color data taken with 071C and L channel taken with 30cm Newtonian in Yuen Long @F5.6. A surprise that the red color becomes much prominent after combination than that in the bottom OSC image.

Re: DSO 遺照集 -- L + RGB
140. L + RGB
Top image is a combination of L channel taken with a DIY 30 cm F4 Newtonian and RGB channels taken with Vixen SD115S apo, using the same cooled mono camera 1600MM (the bottom image). Seemed to have a gain in finer details and lower noise level.
This is actually one direction I want to go. Take L channel data with a bigger telescope and RGB channel data or OSC image with a smaller scope. By doing so, I can operate two scopes at the same time. However, one issue comes. That is the difference of gathering power between the two scopes, especially for a big difference in the aperture between the scopes.
