The focal ratio of a 6" F4 newtonian + Vixen 1.4x extender PH = 6" F5 newtonian + TV paracorr. Maybe I will go to PTC to shoot DSOs with both newtonians at the same time. So last night staying at my YL old home to test how this TV paracorr (film stage) works with a 6" F5 newtonian on correcting the coma. Unluckly, can't kill all the coma at the corner of a APS-C sensor.
27x90s @iso800 with 4 darks calibrated in DSS only, autoguided.
Sky conditions last night at my YL old home place was very poor, very low transparency and surrounding with more and more LED lights. Luckily, seeing was quite good.
Test shot from last night with 6" F4 newtonian
Re: Test shot from last night
Another test shot from last night in YL
11x45s @iso400 stacked in DSS without any calibration
Taken with 6" F4 Newtonian + Vixen 0.95x corrector PH + 100Da @580mm F3.8
Autoguided with Vixen AP-WM mount
Most probably that 6" newtonian will be brought down south for astronomy soon.
