One question. Are these images scanned with a flat-bed scanner? The stars seem a little bit fat, or resulting from the processing?

大底的film scanner 太貴了唔捨得買,只係用部Epson4990 photo來scan. 第一張無執過,所以顏色效淡,這部機scan出來o的色都偏淡.第二張曝光短o的,有用Photoshop把色同亮度推高了一些.兩張是在不同日子影的.

Their summer. Usually, their winter climate is not so good for astronomy but maybe with exemption to some places in North island such as Ma's living place (I guess).

Maybe the best season for astrophotography in NZ is from their summer to fall. Is it right, Ma?

This promotion is till end of June. For their summer, it shall be Xmas to Lunar New Year. Let say from 22/12/07 to 2/1/08 and just take 3-day leave for 11-day holidays. The fare must be high.

深冬的天氣多數唔好,不過Auckland的天氣都算平均.好似現在係入冬時間,但呢排就好好天. 另外New Zealand係偏冷,就算夏天晚上都要穿厚衣,冬天睇星好難頂.怕你地頂唔順,尤期係體弱的KingArthur

Because I could travel NZ in your winter time. Maybe I was very unlucky. I didn't meet the good weather period during my stay in NZ. The sky god seemed always "playing" me. Each time, before arrival, Tse Yan told me he had weeks of cloudless skies. But after my arrival, the cloud and rain came along with me.

Moreover, when it rained, it was very cold, especially in the south island. My wife didn't like the temperature and weather. So, I didn't spend my summer holiday in NZ since year 2k. But when it turned clear, the sky was absolutely excellent for astronomy though a little bit too windy sometimes.

How about your business? I think it should be great.

Most probably, I will visit NZ again some years later.
