FAQ - 我應如何清潔望遠鏡鏡片?

1. 若需要清潔光學器材的是內部光學面或光學面長有霉菌, 而光學器材有保養或在保養期間, 應該送回原廠進行清潔.

2. 若要被清潔的光學面是在表面, 而只是粘有非油性的灰塵或砂粒, 可以用膠氣泵吹走, 或用清潔鏡片專用的軟掃掃走.

3a. 若要被清潔的光學面是在表面, 而粘上的是油性物質(例如手指的油)或霉菌, 則應先以(2)的方法清潔, 再用粘有火酒的脫脂棉花輕輕由中心向外打圈擦拭, 同一塊棉花不應擦拭兩次或以上. 待水分蒸發後, 再用乾的脫脂棉花打圈抹清水漬.

3b. 若要被清潔的光學面是在表面, 而粘上的是油性物質(例如手指的油)或霉菌, 則應先以(2)的方法清潔, 然後用鏡頭筆 (Lens-Pen) 輕輕打圈把污漬抹掉.

4. 若要清潔的玻璃及鍍膜不怕水, 鏡片可輕易裝拆, 而且不會影響保養(或沒保養), 有嚴重的污漬時應拆下. 用清水沖洗砂塵, 再以肥皂去除油污, 然後以蒸餾水洗走肥皂, 待涼乾後, 以乾的脫脂棉花打圈抹清水漬.

最重要的一點: 不要吹毛求疪, 動不動就擦拭鏡片. 只要不是油性髒物或霉菌, 方法2已經足夠大部份情況清潔.

Dear All,

I just received a C8 from a friend, as he don't want to keep it any more.
It was staying in his store room for years. I found that there's fungus
grew inside the front lens. & may be a few spots on the primary mirror.
Can anyone suggest a service centre for me to clean it up?

Probably there is no “service centre” in HK, as most dealers are not favor in “after-sales-service”. As a user, you better learn to clean up C8 yourself. It is not so difficult to do provided you are the kind of DIY:

Basic awareness
1. Take off the front label ring with screwdriver.
2. Mark the glass lens (corrector) with pencil or whatever to identify its orientation, front/back side.
3. Remove the lens and the rim inserts from tube body carefully (not to break the glass !)
4. Clean the lens with distilled water and wip dry with clean cotton handkerchief.
5. Similar thoughts to clean the mirror ....

The rest can be worked out at your own. Remember to put the lens back in original orientation + front/back side. Also the star collimation after repair, which can be done with the 3 set-screws on the secondary mirror holder.

請問用一些鏡頭專用的清潔水來清潔鏡片及filter得嗎？其實會唔會整花啲鍍膜?
